Behind the scenes
Biofield Tuning from a practitioner's point of view
In this section, I will explain what takes place during sessions to provide you with insights into the behind-the-scenes of Biofield Tuning from a practitioner’s viewpoint, in this case, myself.
In Biofield Tuning sessions, I witness your life through my perceptions, in a chronological order, starting at the gestation through the present time. I do not see earthly matters. I only sense critical events, both positive and negative. Examples of my perceptions include hearing overtones, mid-tones, and undertones of the tuning forks, feeling various degrees of vibration from tuning forks, feeling hot and cold temperatures and sweating, shaking and crying, having physical sensations and discomfort in my body, receiving downloads of images and knowing, associated with the events which caused the irregular patterns of frequency. These irregular waveforms exemplify trapped emotions and memories of physical or emotional “injuries”.
As I locate a cloud in the field and begin to pick up the feedback from the fork, I experience whatever you were going through at that point of the timeline vibrationally and through my perceptions. Witnessing one traumatic event or an entire series of critical events from a client’s life can require a significant amount of inner fortitude within me to even stand still. I basically feel your events, ranging from the happiest to the most painful like traumatic birth, divorce, sexual traumas, abuse, abandonment, betrayal, break ups, loss of loved ones, severe injuries and illnesses, and suppressed emotions, through subtle sensations and sometimes vividly. If I don’t keep my container clean and strongly grounded, I could easily let myself fall ill after the session. On the other hand, it truly is humbling to witness one’s life without a lens of the human eye because I see so much more bright light and depth in each person’s life that the outer world doesn’t yet know.
Every practitioner is different so what is normal to me may not be the case for other practitioners. I seem to have higher levels of perceptions by design. Additionally, over three decades of training in music have given me extremely high sensibilities in hearing and the ability to interpret vibrations. In some cases, I hear the presence of other individuals around you and the degrees of their impact on you also show up vibrationally. The moment a trapped emotion is released, I can literally feel and trace the energy leaving the client’s field and moving through my body. While this is okay and manageable in most cases, occasionally, it can be so intense that it almost knocks me out or my whole body starts shaking and I burst into tears. That is why I need plenty of time to rest and recoup my energy after each session.
I constantly take vigorous good care of myself by taking a salt bath at least once a day, receiving body treatment and Biofield Tuning regularly, speaking truth, and playing lots of music. I also use tools to clear and charge the space and myself before and after each session. And of course, I use tuning forks in my self-care routine daily!
Unlike most other modalities, the processes that take place during a session are not visible but may possibly be noticeable through your sensations which are often subtle until your body begins to adapt. It may look like I’m just standing there waiving some tuning forks which is true and what I intend to do but in fact, I am processing a lot internally. I do not usually speak everything I witness or ask questions to investigate. I focus on doing the work to serve the client in front of me by standing behind the forks, keeping the fine line between the states of being neutral and perceptive.
I am here fully invested with my whole presence and abilities, and I am honored to serve you with my gift.
Thank you for being here and taking the time to read.
Tomoko
Rebecca, Massage Therapist, Biofield Tuning Practitioner, LA
I was impressed at how Tomoko was able to drop into my state regarding the situation simply by working with a fork around my body. The way she worked with the forks was soothing and effective, and helped me release more of the stagnated energy from that situation. I walked out of the session feeling tender and lighter.

In the past, my nervousness has really impaired my ability to make a presentation but today I was a little bit nervous before I started, but actually felt very comfortable while I was doing the presentation. Your perceptions and advice were very helpful
