Heart to heart communication with animals and children

Lately, I am loving communication with animals and small children, which emerged rather naturally out of necessity during sessions some time ago. What I’m discovering is that their communication and thought processes operate very differently. It's often playful, sometimes emotional, and requires patience and deep trust.

Whether I’m working with adults, children, or animals, I can tell when someone isn’t open—I either feel pushed away or tricked. With adults, the reasons for this can be complex, often rooted in unhealed wounds or ego. With small children and animals, the response feels distinctly different. Their energy is noticeably lighter and more delicate. Because their construct of the mind is still in its developing phase, communication tends to be non-linear and non-verbal—straight from the heart.

They’re teaching me something essential – a form of communication we adults often forget. They also remind me that joy and playfulness come first! Time? Not of their concern.

This is how sessions go. By the way, all sessions with animals and small children are conducted remotely offline, for the reason mentioned above and below. I then communicate with the owners or parents.

In a session, I first connect to the client and send off one big ball of healing that automatically begins searching, clearing and repairing areas that need attention. This clears out most major issues on the surface and some of the ones in deeper layers of subconscious and past to an extent the client can allow and tolerate. I then ask what was addressed in detail including the issues, causes of the issues, origins of the causes, and energies that were supplied to improve. This step can take time if the client is not willing to open up.

Some animals and kids need time to warm up with me. They might want me to sit by their side or play with them. Only when they give me a yes, they begin to show me images and sensations of places, activities, and situations that they want to share with me, not necessarily what I asked to proceed my session or the request from the owner or their parents. I was puzzled at first but I find this so fun. The more layers of stress dissolve, the more of their genuine side begin to peek.

I’ve had sessions with a ‘young man’ who wanted to present himself as a grown up man. He was having issues handling certain situations and expressing his voices. Oh, he challenged me a lot at the beginning to make sure I could be his friend. He tosses off my energy like he’s playing with balls and keeps bouncing me off here and there. I said "alright, I’ll wait.” After 40 minutes (!!), he turned to me once and walked away. I got the message that this man needs some space. After a week or so, I revisited him. Then he immediately started crying really hard for 15 minutes straight through my body, shouting out his pain. When it calmed, he showed me a clear image of a number and some insights from his past and present. That number turned out to be one that’s associated with his family’s fond memories. No idea why he showed that to me. Possibly it was his sign of opening up to me. I sensed that he wanted to handle his matter on his terms at his pace, yet deep down he wished he could seek support. It was so funny, in the last session (after his second big cry), I asked him “you know you can now try this (something he’s working on). Your parents will be there for you”. He said “I know. I’m on it!”, and took off fast with full of his vibrant spirit. Okay, sir! Sometimes, we don’t see the progress and intentions behind what children do or not do. I was so amazed and moved by what he taught me –to trust the path they choose.

In sessions with a dog, who had a behavioral problem, he was also hesitant at the beginning. Instead of responding to my questions, he started sending me sensations in his body and emotions, and images of grass where he loved to play. The image was nothing other than green grass, which probably is what he sees at his eye level. He told me how content he was with his food and grateful for the care he receives, and wanted more play time on the green grass. His behavioral problem seemed to come from external influences which caused him to behave in certain ways, out of his control. It apparently disappeared after one session. Though I didn’t get a chance to have further conversation with him, he brought so much joy and appreciation, and let me see a glimpse into his pain, which we’ll talk later if there is a next time. The thing is, pets do know everything in the house, including family dynamics. From this dog-man particularly, I not only felt his pure joy and longing for more attention but also his desires to help and serve the family.
